Off the handle of the Big Dipper lies the Pinwheel Galaxy over 21 million light years away. A grain of sand in the sky, this galaxy is impossible to see with the naked eye. Resembling the motion of a pinwheel, the dynamic tails of this galaxy are marked with faint blue dust swirling around the black hole at the center of the galaxy. Red and purple dot across the galaxy, highlighting the hydrogen regions where stars are forming.
